Author duties and responsibilities
Ensure the originality of the article submitted for publication, that it has not been previously published, or is currently being reviewed by other journals. Also, ensure that you are not a co-author of another article being reviewed by the same journal or have published an article within the last two years.
For works to be eligible for publication, authors must strictly follow the guidelines defined on the website.
Authors should submit their articles to the journal in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines for authors.
Article authors must provide an accurate description of the research conducted, as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all data presented is accurate and obtained in a technically correct manner.
Authors should not, in general, publish articles that essentially describe the same research in more than one journal or primary publication, nor should they plagiarize, in whole or in part, other published works, including self-plagiarism.
Ensure that the authorship of the article corresponds to the individuals who sign it. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.
Declare any relationship or association that may constitute a conflict of interest with respect to the article submitted for evaluation.
Clearly indicate the sources of information included in the work. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in the domain of the work presented.
Where applicable, obtain permission to use databases or reproduce material from other publications.
Respect the deadlines established by the Editorial Committee for the submission of revisions and corrections.
When authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, it is their obligation to immediately notify the editor responsible for the journal and cooperate in retracting or correcting the article.
All submitted articles will be reviewed using Ithenticate or Compilatio software and must have a percentage equal to or less than 15% to begin the review process. During this process, authors will be informed of the percentage of plagiarism and will be provided with a report for the correction of the manuscript.
