PSICUMEX is governed by the international standards published by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) in order to certify the transparency of publications as well as any contribution made to the Journal.
Good Journal practices include:
- Provide training for everyone involved in the Journal editing process. The training will contain at least the guidelines and recommendations for conducting a peer review.
- Adopt the review methods that are appropriate for the scientific community being served.
- Periodical review of review practices to verify possible improvements.
- In the event of any inappropriate behavior on the part of the editors or reviewers, the COPE rules will be referred to or a third party will be appointed to resolve the problem.
The editors of the Journal will check that all parties (editors, peer reviewers and authors) adopt ethical standards in the editorial process at all times.
